The Senior Computer
Center offers classes on PC
and Macintosh computers in beginning computer skills, a variety of software
programs and Internet. Introductory courses are taught once or twice a week, in
six two-hour sessions; intermediate classes may vary from a single session to 6
weeks. There is an emphasis on hands-on learning, and students are encouraged
to use the lab computers outside of class. All courses are taught by volunteers
and course offerings vary each quarter depending upon the interests and
availability of volunteer instructors. Quarters begin in January, April, July
and October.
