Classes

The Senior Computer Center offers classes on PC and Macintosh computers in beginning computer skills, a variety of software programs and Internet. Introductory courses are taught once or twice a week, in six two-hour sessions; intermediate classes may vary from a single session to 6 weeks. There is an emphasis on hands-on learning, and students are encouraged to use the lab computers outside of class. All courses are taught by volunteers and course offerings vary each quarter depending upon the interests and availability of volunteer instructors. Quarters begin in January, April, July and October.

Following is general registration information and some sample class descriptions. For current class schedules, call us at (831) 420-6180 or download the current newsletter in PDF format (for this you will need Adobe Acrobat  Reader which is available for free download.

You must be a member to register. The application form is available online to print and mail in to us with your registration request. Since classes fill quickly you may want to call us to check availability before mailing in your application.
